Palloid bevel gears / Palloid bevel gear sets

A bevel gear is a gear build. It is used to transfer rotating movements and torques.

Characteristic features are input and output shafts at an angle to each other, with drives having a shared intersection. The force transfer takes place through bevel gears.

The axis angle can be chosen as desired, but is usually only 90°.

The advantage of the spiral teeth of palloid bevel gears instead of straight-interlocked bevel gears is in the larger and calmer transfer of output.
